The Denon DN-S5000 Pro DJ CD Player revolutionized the CD DJ industry when it was unveiled a few months ago. In my opinion and from what I see so far, the Denon s5000 is going to become the standard deck for CDs in nightclubs and other venues all over the world. Denon DN-S5000 features an active analog turntable platter with real-time user interaction which is a world’s first and the reason a pair of these CD players will become standard with DJs and other pro gear users. This motor driven active platter, allows the Denon s5000 to become a turntablist killer tool with its ability to scratch, backspin, brake, search and almost everything that can be done on a normal turntable! This feature is also god sent for all “mix” vinyl DJs that have a hard time converting to CDs to the difficulty of not being able to “feel” the record.
