For most professional mobile sound systems, they often come with big speakers, turntables, CD decks and a few premiums such as lighting and effects to liven any party or special event anywhere and anytime. The American Audio CDG 350 is meant for the professional, who livens up any social functions and parties behind the scenes. The CD controls and mixer are separate from the actual dual CD players, allows a customized DJ’s booth to be fitted in it. Standard controls include the CUE/PLAY buttons, pitch control with a ration of 8, 12 and 16% and master volume for both CDs. It also has a video fader control and composite video out to allow images to be switched from one to the other as well as a karaoke function. The jog dials are relative small, not meant for power mixing or progressive house music, while the tray feeder is something left to be desired yet still fast enough to eject the CD at a given time. The tempo lock is a plus for those who plays music at a higher pitch and speed without the vocals sounding like Alvin the Chipmunks are singing. The sound quality is passable, accompanied with a good equalizer, mixer and speakers.
